I dropped off 40 wood pen blanks for the pens for troops at the local Woodcraft. 10 spalted maple, 10 cedar, and 20 black walnut. I think the only one that did not appreciate them was the guy drilling the blanks.

Gluing is easy. What about the guy that had to do the body cavity searches to ensure no one stole those blanks. We all know Ed will only give the best for us. Thanks Ed! My fellow Marines and the sister services appreciate it.

Thanks Ed for that great donation. It's such a great thing to be able to give back to those who are still servings and I hope to be able to some pens for them once I get my lathe and start turning some pens. It does not matter which branch they are in Army, Air Force, Coast Guard, Navy and that other part of the Navy the Marines.
