40 and still going

40 years ago tomorrow, me and my sweetie got married. It has been an incredible ride.Two wonderful kids, five grandkids. We both have great health, good jobs, and still love each other. We met in First grade(!!!!)

. Went through school together,graduated same year, same school. Married less than a year later. So, we have no secrets. People ask "how do you stay together that long"? I tell them "She just kept letting me in the door". And she keeps on feeding me, too. Here's to 40 more. By the way, we are making trip to Hawaii this summer for our anniversary trip.

Congrats to you and your wife. I know it's a two way street. My wife and I are comming up on our 36th this Nov. I asked if she wanted me to take her to Hawaii on our 40th and she said sure. I told her I would pick her up on our 45th thinking I would rattle her cage but she just said no hurry.
