Got an old Shopsmith a few weeks ago. Attached are the first pens I made.

The first 4 pens went well, but the 5th one is off center. The mandrel is slightly bent. I'll look for instructions on YouTube to straighten the mandrel, if anyone had advice, I would love to hear it.

nice work on the pens. I suspect the mandrel bent due to over-tightening the knurled nut or over tightening the tail stock quill.

No kidding about the money pit comment. Christmas is over, but more Amazon and Penn State Industry boxes are on the way. The wife is going to start asking questions....
