It's not Argentine Lignum... it's a lot softer than that, and the small grain rays were pretty deep and needed filling with CA to get the pen smooth... It's a pretty wood whatever it is!

I use decals... it takes some practice to get them right but it is cheap and fast when engraving isn't an option due to cost or time....
