About 6 years ago I had a couple vascular grafts done on my left leg due to plaque buildup in the artery, well they fixed my left leg but used up all of the veins that could be taken out of both legs. My right leg started giving me fits and kept getting worse, it got to the point that you could only find a heart beat in my foot by using ultra sound. He informed me that my only option was going to be amputation.
Well I got a second opinion, two weeks ago he did an angiogram and looked at the blockage and was confident that he could fix my leg.
I went into the operating room at 7:30 AM monday and got home today at 1:30 PM, he replaced a 6" section of my artery with Bovine artery. I'm a little sore and won't be walking well for a few days buy I now have a strong heartbeat all the way down my right leg.
I'm a happy camper.

Great news Dick!! I will be praying for a complete and quick recovery so you can get back out in the shop.

It is always welcome news when someone with serious health issues come up with a good solution. I am glad for you! Get on with your "happy camping". Thanks for the reminder about a second opinion.

Dick,

Must admit to being tempted to say the best of Bull parts to you. Thrilled that you went the extra mile I have a theory about Doctors and Hospitals ask around no question is foolish and I am so pleased for you and yours. Wish you safe recovery and put your best foot forward. In our times of stress with Wilma and me we go together and back each other up.

Kind regards Peter.
