2nd Kitless Rollerball

Second one - I used and M13 for the cap threads and an M9 for the section threads. First one I used M9 and M11 and felt it was pretty fragile!
5 1/8 long, cap 15.6MM, body 15.6MM, section 10.3MM. I think I still need to work on the section design.
Constructive criticism welcome!

Nice work on the rollerball. Rollerball sections have been an issue with me also. I have, for now, settled on this design copied from a kit section. It is working well for me so far. You might consider it.

Not wishing to decry your very good efforts at making a Rollerball, I have also been down that rabbit hole. Have you seen a Schmidt Rollerball insert? I came across them at Beaufortink.co.uk - and they are really quite good. I use them in my workshop pens, and a major advantage is that they don't dry out when un-capped. Further, I don't need to alter the design of my basic fountain pen to use the rollerball section.
