Thank you for the suggestions. The one I'm looking is very similar to the Pentel Pencils and are not usually sold by the big distributors. This is where I purchased them before but I the website has no merchandise. https://www.theperfectcollection.com/

Do you have a picture of one you've made? Or, maybe a Pentel model number? I tried doing a search but got bored clicking through all the pictures presented.

Dale: our member (chuckkey) is the owner of theperfitcollection. I have been in contact with John and at the time he is dealing with some heath issue and not able to do much. Might want to send him a PM on this site.
Pentel conversion of the Sharp 1.3 is little different as they use the body to hold the mechanism. See attached one this show kit and completed pencil, I like the 1.3 lead ion the shop use.

Thanks for the information. Is there a tutorial for this model or is it just a straight hole all the way through?

Dale: no tutorial. I drill straight hole in blank. Take the org pen and turn off body leave couple inches, turn it down to fit your 5/16 hole. Important is when epoxying body it blank make sure. Not to get epoxy on tip as it will jam up operation.

I was going to suggest de-engineering an original Pentel 2mm pencil and then using that original's hardware to make custom wood 2mm pencil.

I assumed from your original question that you had seen/used 2mm Pentel pencils as you asked for something similar.

Dale, I would be interested in all of the 2mm kits you do not need. Lets talk.
Additionally, the Pentel 1.3mm pencils are awesome in the shop if you ask me.
