Cards and Mets go 20 innings. 6 hours 53 minutes. If you bought a ticket, would you get bored and leave, or think you got more than your money's worth? By the way, the losing pitcher came in as a pinch hitter in the 10th, and played center field and third base before starting to pitch. I bet he thinks "what a day".

It was a wild game. I didn't turn it on until the 18th. I saw the Reds and the Braves go 15. That was cool. I felt sorry for the High School teams that were supposed to play afterwords and I think they should have changed out the refs in the 12th or so.

I'd be ok with the game.
I'm a BIG baseball fan (Go Tigers!) and have sat through some no run games.. Getting up to the 9th inning can be a bit boring, but once you're in the 9th, it's very exciting!

What I wanted to know while watching, was.. How many 7th inning stretches did they have? Did they stop selling beer after the 7th? Did they keep the grills open late?
Tell you what, today's game is going to be a killer for those guys. There's no way Molina is going to be able to catch today!

White Sox fan here! Love the extra inning games. The spirit of competition is fierce. I remember watching the World Serie's longest game. Only 14 innings, but 5 hours and 41 minutes. Geoff Blum hit a HR to end it.

I love baseball. Some of the players, not so much. But it beats any game out there! Oops...that's gonna provoke some reponses. IMHO..... :)

I;m a Cards fan, but don't get to see them much anymore. I train show horses and the shows and training eats up fun time. I guess I can't complain though. The Springfield Cardinals are here in town and this is the step below STL.

I would have shut off the game after the 11th inning and watched something more exciting(paint drying, grass growing,etc...)

I use to love baseball but have lost interest since the players look like they are wearing their pajamas on the field and wear enough gold around their necks to pay off the national debt.
It no longer Amaricas game because there are no more Americans playing. Wait til next year-- Old Brooklyn Dodger fan

I would have left in the 8th anyway. I always do. Being in the Boston area it would be the expensive Red Sox game I would have left. Last game I left was the Yanks/ Sox in the 8th sox losing 5 - 3 or something like that. They tied it up and ended up going 11 or 12 innings. I dont care for the game I go with SWMBO. She is the true fan in the house.
