I can't speak from authority, but I can say that some JoWo #6 housings are very tight when I screw them into sections made with my M7.4 x .5 tap. To the point where I'm thinking about getting one of the M7.5 x .5 taps to get that little bit extra slack in there.

I believe the 0.1mm diameter difference gets divided in two, resulting in 10% less active thread each side (0.1mm / 2 = 0.05mm, 0.05 / 0.5 = 10%). I can live with that if it means I can get the housing out of the section without mangling parts.

I get two different answers. Another member pointed out that the JOWO #6 feeds were really tight with the M7.4X.5 and that he thought the M7.5X.5 might make it easier to remove the feed with out destroying it.

Sorry, however in the last group buy we bought the M7.5X.5.

Something else that sometimes confuses people is the drill bit size to the Bock #5. The tap is a M6.4X.6 which means that you would use a M5.8 drill bit. In fact the end of the Bock#5 feed is 5.9 mm in diameter and it would not fit in the 5.8 mm hole so we have been advised to use a M5.9 drill bit.
