Prizes are posted in the Original Contest Rules post.
Make sure you thank our generous sponsors!

WOO HOO! The first and might I add the prettiest entrant has stepped up. Guaranteed a winner! (unless three or more enrtries jump in)

THere should be at least one of the finished pen but the other two can be close ups of the blanks and some of the pen or the whole pen from different angles.

Ahem.....
I have an important announcement to make.
Thanks to the generosity of the members and vendors here at IAP we will be adding a prize to be awarded in a random drawing from any non winning entries into this contest.

The random Prize for this contest is from an Anonymous Donor of a $25.00 gift Certificate of the IAP vendor of your choice.

I hear the sound of Tumbleweeds drifting across a barren landscape as the sun sets behind a wood turners shop. Is that muttering that breaks the silence? Is it the low guttural growl of a caged Artist striving to break free? Is that muttering directed at a failed casting experiment? Will there be an Amen! Will it be Eureka! or the sound of sobbing and a choice word or two.

Im not sure but if you dont get something done soon it will be crying over spilt milk I hear. The deadline is drawing near.

 No fear. I'm happy to give back to the IAP.

Chicken would be bowing out of the kitless with the ummm... effort... I'm trying.

I can swap your prize out with another, I have spares for the losers train. Just say the word and your good to go.

I'm thinking about getting some Alumilite tomorrow, but I've never casted before so I have no idea what to expect ... not sure I should just jump into casting just to enter a competition.

But ... would it count if I made a blank using polyclay???

What better reason not to?

Not enough cash... :(

I get paid today, but I'm buying a 7-inch wet-cut saw and 20+ pounds of alabaster .... :)

I guess a polyclay pen blank won't count, eh?

If it wasnt so late in the contest I would have allowed it. But with less than a week to go it might not be fair to others that could have made one that chose to cast instead. Next year I will add it to the mix.
