2014 MPG pen contests.

The Birthday Bash is over and the next thing coming up is the MPG. Bring your pens to show and to enter into the pen contests for a chance to win a great prize. There will be 4 categories in the pen contests: "Novice" for those just starting out, intermediate for penturners that have been at it for awhile , advanced, which would include closed end and kitless along with just great pens, and to steal an idea from earlier Birthday Bashes, an ugliest pen contest.
Get your pens in order. You can enter pens that have been entered in the Birthday Bash contests, your favorite pen, or make some new ones just for the MPG.
There will also bne a great prize for the penturner that has traveled the farthest to attend the MPG
Time is drawing near and the MPG will be on April 11th and 12th. Lets make this the best MPG ever.

Maybe we should make that "long distance attendee that is not a vendor" for the long distance award. We don't want a certain vendor from Texas to be an automatic winner!

JohnU has suggested that for the pen contests, in addition to novice, intermediate, and advanced, we have a peoples choice award, voted on by the attendees. WOW, what a great MPG this will be. Don't miss it.

I might get her to travel that far if i said we was going turkey hunting.
We used to go to Waynoka, OK turkey hunting. 18 hour drive non stop only for gas. Long drive.
