There is a big gathering of turners that is going to take place on Saturday, March 24th from 10am till 4pm. at the Phillips Recreation Center, Urbana Illinois.
I wanted to make sure that everyone was aware of it so that everyone could have some fun meeting each other!:D

I'm checking my schedule because I would love to be there. I may get with the person putting it together to see if they need me to fill a gap in tutorials. This way we can get some good music going and see what the saw produces.[;)]

Great idea... we can always use more instruction on your blanks... would like to see your work again. Didn't get to see as much in Atlanta as would like to have.. I've not had a chance to put any of your techniques to use yet, but did get a new saw blade for my miter, with the laser attachment... I still need to look at some hold downs like you have... I have a lot of respect for my fingers and plan to keep them. I'm already nursing a jambed thumb from trying to hold down a piece by hand from a few months back.
 
As it stand now I'll take some vacation time and enjoy meeting everyone. Do we have a count yet as to whom will be there?
