I have an idea but I have to ask a question. I want to make a 2 color blank with a hard line between the colors, no mixing of the colors. Do I cast one and wait until it is set and then add the 2nd color? Do I wait just until it sets or can I wait untilit is fully cured? I seem to remember that they will stick to each other but I'm not sure when to add the 2nd color. Also, does it make any difference if Alumilite or PR?
I'm new to casting, bought all the stuff a couple months ago and trying to jump in and start. Thought some simple 1 and 2 color blanks would be an easy way to start. I'm sure I'll be OK (and probably addicted) once I get started.
I think I neeed to make some blank now during our brief warm weather up here in the great white north. I'm concerned that in the Winter it will be too cold in my basement to cast.
