1st SUCCESSFUL Custom Slim

Finally! A successful removal of the cb on a slim!

I have no idea what kind of burl this is, came in a box of wood that I got with my lathe. The CB is brass and walnut. BLO/CA finish.

Well, I've probably tried 20 different concepts, and none of them worked well to my eye. FINALLY I got one I was happy with. And the clip even fits right!

Now that my friend is probably the best slimline I have seen made. The wood is great looking but the shape you turned it is perfect. It gives the simple slimline a nice look. Thanks for showing.
