Scott, very nice... did you use the PC to tint the casting as well? I noticed you said it was charcoal.

Not this go round. I used Pearlex. The black that I have for PCing is flat (from Eastwood). I wanted to make sure it would shine up. It looks black from a distance, but when you get close up in a bright light you can see swirls in the resin.
My next Jr. Emp. is going to be white cast directly to a white PCed tube. I really like casting directly to the tube. No drilling, painting, gluing or worrying about air pockets.
