Not my 1st Long Clicker
Not my 1st TBC pen
Not my 1st time turning a alumilite WW casting
Not my 1st CA finish
What is the 1st you ask?
My first blank casting attempt of my own.
It was not what I pictured it to turn out like in my mind. I did learn a lot. 1st thing I realized is to think inside out when selecting the wood portion for casting WW stuff. Next I learned that small "hairline" cracks are magnified by the resin. Another lesson learned was my PP creates plenty of force on the resin, it even stained the wood in places I thought the wood was "solid". The others in the batch had less wood in them, I'll post a pic once I turn another one. Feel free to comment. I know there is room for improvement in several areas, I need feedback to point out what I still might be missing. Thanks.
