12 Bow Breadknives

The variety of woods give buyers lots of choices: African mahogany, black walnut, cherry, zebra wood, maple and quarter-sawn white oak this time.

Cut blanks 18"x2"
Draw with template
Bandsaw with 3/16" blade
Oscillating spindle sander (80 & 150 grits)

Up this morning at 1:30 to drive a friend to USC Kevlar hospital by 5 am.

No routing today as that task is very tricky with these shapes.

Routed, sanded, ready to drill holes for bread knife blades and finish.

Holes drilled and blade fitted using a clamp to tension the bow bread knife. Coat one of wipe on poly applied and the color and grain popped!
