100 YO + and full of salt

It as been a long time I want to turn it, a friend of my City Council give me a little piece of a post from our pier who as been changed 4 years ago, post of the pier are made from trees growing on Fraser Island and don't root in the sea water are they grown up on sea water, the Pier of Hervey Bay as been made in 1876 is use to be 1.5 km nearly 1 mile long at the end of the pier was a loading dock for sugar cane to go to Bundaberg where the raffinery is and still is, those post are 2'1/2 diameter, the 1st photo is taken with no flash the reste of it is taken with flash the withe shadowyou see on the piece of wood is salt, BTW find a guys who's doing laser engaver here, my luky day
