Our "adopted" daughter and family live on about 35 acres in Hallettsville, about a 2hr drive west of us. They have been saving copperheads for me for the past few months. She called last week and said she had 6 copperheads for me. We drove out there Friday and picked them up. Just finished skinning them a few minutes ago. Three are a nice size and three are only about a foot long, but I can still get a few pens out of them.

Very Nice! I wish I could get my family to save snakes for me. They say its not easy to do when running the other way.

I hate snakes, but that one just to the right of the ruler is beautiful! I have grown very fond of people in my area that save copperheads and rattlesnakes for me!
