wooden box

Had some fun making this wooden ring box for my wife. I used Zebra Wood and Oak. Would have preferred to use Walnut instead of the oak but didn't have any on hand. I used a metal hinge, but next time I plan to make a wooden hinge. Check out the tutorial if you want to see how I made it...

Hello, I'm sure this probably comes up time to time but I was wondering what people's feelings were on wooden pen boxes. I want to know different types and difficulty to do. Also what they sell for on top of the pen. Thanks !
