    My First Majestic Jr.

I love fountain pens, so out of the 8 or 9 pens I've turned so far, half have been fountain pens. I realize my Majestic Jr nowhere near the beautiful creations I've seen on display in this thread, but I am still quite proud of how this one turned out (you may also notice I had to repair a...

Ebony & Amboyna Fountain Pen with Metal Inlay

This is my first try working with aluminum. It is made from ebony, amboyna burl, and aluminum strips. I had a little trouble with gluing the aluminum to the wood/burl. I had to re-glue some of the aluminum pieces before they stayed on. I used CA glue but am wondering if there is something...

    Malachite TruStone Majestic Jr.

I got this piece of malachite at a gem show. It has the perfect notch in it for a pen display and it seems to match the pen color pretty well. Let me know what you think of it.

    Tru-stone majestic jr

Here is a majestic jr that I made a few days ago. I did a CA finish, I wanted to try it. What do you guys think the best kind of finish for a tru-stone blank. Thoughts, comments all welcome.

    Majestic Jr. fountain

My first attempt at turning a Majestic Jr. rollerball resulted in a nice pen that wouldn't "post", as the plastic threads got bunged up. So for my second try I decided to do a fountain out of Amboyna burl. =0) It was also my first attempt at adding blo to the finishing process with the CA.

    My first Majestic Jr. (problem)

I just finished my first Majestic Jr. rollerball out of Thuya burl. I'm happy with how it came out with the exception that it wont "post" in either position. It's like there are no threads ... ? Did I do something wrong or did I get a bad kit ?

Pens Finished this week and one for next week

I finished this Majestic in Burl this week, O was inspired by the stained glass in the fron of our church. Stained glass on Majestic Jr. This is just a long cap for a Baron. Engraving by Ken of Kallenshaan Woods. Now got to finish the closed end.

So I'm looking at my new Majestic Jr. instructions..

And wondering why they show the blank to be turned "pregnant" in the drawings. Is there a reason? Or do they just assume the pen's gonna be turned that way?

Majestic Jr. with Bloody Basin Jasper Tru-Stone

Rollerball Majestic Jr. from PennStateInd. The blank is from Richard at randbcrafts. I wouldn't like this kit for myself but it sells really well. If you've not tried tru-stone yet, this blank is easy to turn and wet sands nicely. Wet sanded starting with 220 grit to 400 then wet mm to 12000...
