    Cutting board (I'm finally a real woodworker, hahaha)

    I finally made my first cutting board. I did all the flattening and jointing by hand. All the wood came from the scrap bin at the local hardwood dealer, so I'm not 100% sure on all the woods, but I'm pretty sure I have walnut, cherry, maple, oak, and poplar. I definitely need a larger hand...

    Serving Tray & Bowl set

    I was commissioned by a friend to build one of these for her sister for Christmas. She apparently liked it a lot because her husband asked for another set for him to give to her for Christmas. Nothing too fancy - I've only turned maybe 10 - 12 bowls so far but I think it came out pretty decent.

    Tint and finish

    Just got through putting three coats of Trans Tint in DNA on maple (old cutting board). I noticed that there were a few fuzzies raised. I had gone through 600 sandpaper before applying the TT. I plan on a CA finish. Taking a break and letting it dry completely. Any suggestions or tips are...

    New Cutting Board For The Wife

    I surprised my wife this month for her birthday with this new cutting board. The wood is cherry and I used my Detail Master "Dagger III" woodburner. Finished with food-grade mineral oil which really brought out the grain and color.
