What is schism you ask? Hobble Creek named it, but it turned nicely and is very sparkly. That's what I know. Nothing fancy added to this one.
The color in the blank is more green than blue, but accurate pictures are tricky. The middle picture looks the closest to me.

Edit: Updating after a couple questions that made me realize things I didn't mention originally

I feel that the gunmetal is doesn't overpower the darker blank material. That and I just like gunmetal hardware. :D

I polished the barrels with the first 3 grits of zona paper, put on 2 coats of medium Glu-Boost and 3 coats of thin, then polished back through all 6 zona grits. The CA really gives some extra depth to the urethane resins.

Awesome blank. I want to be able to pour them that cool. Was it a round or square blank?

Your hardware choice also brings out the beauty of the sparkle. And a great polish too. What's your finishing process?

Oops, I edited to add the process and hardware info. Normally, I put that in my posts. In my defense, I should have already been asleep when I posted this.
It was a round blank. The chatoyance is more even when they are vertically cast. I'm sure there's some science involved, gravity and particle shape and whatever.

NICE!!!!! and I always admire your photography, Todd.
Thanks. I'm still working on the perfect picture settings.

I have one of those Schism blanks in my stock. This makes me want to go dig it out and use it.
