Can you give us some more details? Starting with the tube. Do you put something on the tube? What glue do you use. Do you have troubles with air bubbles during casting? What kind of resin do you use? etc etc.

Wow, that's beautiful. I have questions. Maybe more than this, but...
  • Is the filling between the snail shells just more crushed shell?
  • What casting material (resin, epoxy) and process did you use?
  • Related to the last question, how in the world did you get the casting to fill the shells?
  • The one you pictured in your reply looks like the blank is painted in a terra cotta. Do you have pictures where the tubes are painted different colors so we can see how that affects the finished product?
  • How challenging is this to work with?
