This is a Shuttle pen in gunmetal, from Woodturningz. The blank is called Flaming Forge, and is from Bear Tooth Woods. The pen is a little top heavy to write with, but I love all the details. Very happy with how it turned out. Of course, I'm a big space nut.

I painted the hole and tube, and colored the epoxy black. It's a heavy pen.

I read reviews on this kit because I am thinking of getting a few too. I read that the clip is a little flimsy and easily breakable. Alot of stress on that clip when putting in shirt pocket. Or do you think it is just a desk pen?? Nice job with yours.

Personally, I think it's a bit heavy to carry in a pocket. The clip didn't seem especially flimsy to me, but I left it at work so I can't look closer at it right now.
