WOW!! Received this beautiful pen from truckfixr yesterday. I was looking it over, trying to figure out what kit he used. I've been making pens and looking at almost every pen supplier catalog for almost 15 years and I didn't recognize it. Then I read his note and discovered that this was one of his first 'kitless' pens and that the nib, finial and CLIP were made from Whitetail antler!! Beautiful job! I wish I could have taken a better picture. The wood is good old Yellow Pine but it is turned and finished perfectly. A real keeper for sure.
He also included some blanks from his local Texas woods, AND cactus casts!! What can I say -- THANKS!!
