Same wood with same sanding technique. The lighter is the Enduro two part finish. To me it has a "softer" feel. I know it is psychological. The Enduro finish , like the Unaxol, is easy to apply. The same can be said of CA as far as ease of application, but it gives the look of plastic. It is simply a matter of what look one is going for.
