I created the tube and finial design to commemorate the 100th Anniversary of the Titanic. On the lower barrel are 3 US coins from 1912, carefully cut out using my dremel scroll saw and hand cast in resin, turned and finished. The upper barrel displays the Titanic and the dates 1912-2012. I replaced the stock finial with a liquid filled compass to give it more of a nautical look.
