Ok I did it without wood. I never thought I would do acrylic but have crossed to the dark side. Lol.
FYI I did this post and took all the Pics on my new blackberry bold 9700 phone. Way better pics then my Olympus camera. seeing as its so cold out I find it easier ti work with the acrylic then wood and its less dusty with less prep work or finish work. I really like it allot. And I really like this phone. Please let me know what you think. First work with the materials and first half decent cell phone pics.

Nice work on the pens, Rob. I too love working with exotic and rare woods and have recently been pulled over to the non-wood side. Love to work with everything now do I.

First it was Skippy and a KIT!!! Then it was Ed and his "wooden adventure", now you have fallen prey to the acrylic monster. Where will it go now. :biggrin::beer:
 
Ahhh YES.... My appologies I am sorry, Glass Scratcher on the forums here sent me these blanks as he makes them. And yes they are wonderfull no complaints with them as you see. I have quite a few more to turn and I am looking forward to it.
 
I too took a walk on the dark side. I turned my first pr blank yesterday. I then ordeerd a few more blanks to try some others. I will be posting pics in a new post today.
