I thought I would throw this question out here in case someone has an in somewhere. I placed this question on other forums and coming up dry. I resaw cut alot of exotics and use my bandsaw to do this and use a Lenox trimaster carbide blade. Well the last blade I had finally gave up and snapped and I am having it welded but was wanting to buy another to have as a spare and the guy I buy them from said the prices went up. 3 years ago when I bought last they were $89 and now he wants $129. The cheapest place on line I found was for $120. My question is does anyone know of a place where I can buy a Lenox trimaster carbide 3/4" X 105" blade for reasonable money??? Any inside sources out there??? Thanks and have a great day.

Have you considered using Timberwolf bi-metal blades?

I like them, works great and a lot cheaper. Suffolk machinery also usually have a buy 3 get 1 free deal running.

I picked up a 111" x 3/4" carbide tipped for $99 a while back from Laguna tools. 3 months on the saw and still going strong.

Suffolk machinery has a cabide blade but it is much more expensive than the Lennox. Any other blade will not stand up to the abuse that exotics will throw at it. Cutting woods such as Bolivian Rosewood, Bacote, Kingwood are all tough hard woods. I use timberwolf blades for ordinary work. Resawing is hard on the equipment.
