That terrarium wood

Here is more of that wood i dragged out of a terrarium at a flea market. I wonder if he has figured out where I got it. It looks similar to Cocobolo but is more dense and doesn't have the distinctive smell of Coco. Quite hard, but shines like crazy. Charlie- it's not Cocobolo!

It could be some desert ironwood from Mexico. "Fills the bill" and has the color, too.
