Rainy day in Tampa, so here I am. Still experimenting with pics. But I thought I'd pass along a little tip I just figured out....
Problem: The PSI Majestic is a beautiful writing instrument. I've just made 2, but I took a lot of care with them as they are pricey pens. (or at least I want them to be!) But I couldn't find a case big enough to hold them. I'm hesitant to just wrap the sold item in a Walmart bag and give it to the customer who has just shelled out what I think are "big bucks".
Solution: I really like a relatively new product from PSI. (I have NO association with them, but have thus far been very pleased with them) The product is a single pen leather case. (The pic says a thousand words!) They come in various colors and are $19.95 for a box of 10. Thats about $2. each plus S&H obviously. Also they come in a very nice plastic container which to me can be reused for several things. Anyway, my plan was when I start selling a few pens I would give them to the customer in the nice leather case. How cool is that? And what I just found out this morning is that the majestic will fit in the case....with a little effort. Instead of trying to cram the pen in the case to expand the leather enough so that the top fold of the case closes through the provided loop, I took about a 3/4 dowl and essentially "reamed it out" a lttle. IT FITS TIGHT... NOT MUCH ROOM TO SPARE, BUT IT WORKS!
Now let me guess... you guys and gals have known this all along and wonder why I'm just now figuring it out. I'm slow!!!
