OK folks, welcome to June!

The good news: Ray should be in his new place now (at least the old place was dark when I drove by on Saturday)- we get to "Break it in" since we meet before the AAW folks!

The bad news: No takers on demos this month! Unless you want to hear my droll and boring self demo something off the cuff...

Get your suggestions in (or at least post here so I can modify the Meeting Sticky) please.

May's turnout was a little light, but none the less was informative (at least to me). I think I learned more that night than the others attending (and I was doing the demo!)

See you on the 11th!

Hey, how about a casting demo? It's not really much to "demo" b/c you can't really do it, but I'm happy to bring in some of my different casting tools and supplies and we can have more or less of a discussion. I promise I'll remember to come, too!

Sounds like a plan. (Whew, I almost had to bore the crowd again...)

I'm planning on at least bringing my homemade mold(s) and HF PP/Vacuum Rig to compare notes.

Next month maybe we can con Jim to give a talk...

Awesome...sounds like a plan. I'm hoping we can do more of a 'discussion' than a 'demo', esp. b/c with the new video equipment the AAW club is getting, we won't have access to any video assistance. That could really change the way we operate in the club. It might end up being more of a social event than an educational one, which frankly I'm perfectly okay with.

Yes a discussion forum would be great. I would be interested in the PR and alumilite casting info from everyone since i am having problems with it. Are we still having a blank swap? Mabe a PR swap of home brews.

Looking to trade off your problematic home brews, huh Jim? Sure, let's just bring in whatever we have and see if we can strike up a deal....it'll prolly be the 3 of us and a couple others there anyway!
