Spalted Katalox

Spalted Katalox on an atlas. A little rough to turn, but finishes great. My first spalt and I have to say, I am impressed with the outcome.

That's a nice pen, I agree Spalted Katalox sapwood is difficult, there are about 5 different hardness per square inch. But it's worth the effort, as shown on this Atlas.
