Here are three that I turned this morning. The one on the right is Tulipwood, the other two I have no idea..

Finish is Ca/Blo. Sanded up to 1500. Notice I still have some tool markings so time to invest in the MM this week...

Thanks for the advice there, took another pic of a few pens together at 1600dpi and OH MY LORD, I really have to rethink what I think is finished sanding ready for CA! They are hideous magnified that much! Will be taking a trip to hardware store for more sandpaper now..

What the naked eye thinks is nice, is very far from the truth! Embarrassing to say the least..

Left two look like caragana . Can`t see your tool marks in that photo , so will take your word for it . Lengthwise sanding a must with your final grit .

I suspect the left two to be Indian Ebony Marblewood.

They look good regardless of your supposed tool markings. Keep up the good work.
