This may be only at my Denver Rockler, I don't know, but I stopped in yesterday for a few things, and they were selling Delta 8" faceplates for $10.00. TEN BUCKS!!! They start at 90, they went down to 80, now Delta is discontinuing them. That leads me to believe that many stores got these.

They are 1 1/4 x 8, but heck, at this price get an adapter! I bought 2 of them. They are not for everyone, but they'll hold one honkin' piece of wood with about 20 holes for screws. If your lathe can handle it (mine's a Powermatic 3520), these will work great.

If interested, I wouldn't wait. They got these in for our turner's meeting Tuesday night but I doubt any will be left.

I just dug the box out of the trash, it's a 46-946. Feebay just had one end at 82.00. Rockler doesn't list them on the website. My guess is each or some stores just got what was left before discontinuing, and got them for cheap. On my box, they show they're shipped from Delta Distribution direct to Rockler.

Call your store. You gotta wonder if you got 10 of them and put 'em on Feebay for $82.00...
