This is my latest tool that I've designed to handle beads, flutes and reeds. The design is based on the original SKOGGER tool but the "bed" has been machined and elongated to accomodate cutters that are made from hardened spring steel. SKOGGERINA cuts an assortment of designs as the rotational force of the lathe comes in contact with the cutter. Nothing could be easier to use unless Ed Davidson (Yo-Yo spin) were to do it for me. The cutters may be stacked on top of each other to yield an almost endless possibility of design.

I have no plans to put this tool design in the marketplace, but thought I'd share these to give you an idea of what it is capable of. It can add designs to for pens as well as tool handles. I'm also doing some beading and flute designs on turned bowls. The 'extra' embellishments are unique and add flare. In case you're wondering how the name 'SKOGGERINA' came to be, then you obviously haven't been following my posts.

SKOGGER is my 'brute', but his mate (SKOGGERINA) provides the 'charm' to his designs. What is man without woman?
