First Metal pens

I received my first metal pen blanks from Mike Kogan yesterday & got them into the shop ASAP. These are the first ones I have completed: the Black/Gold Cambridge and the Damascus Steel Jr. Statesman. Both blanks turned beautifully, provided you take it slow and keep your tools sharp. Also, be sure and wear a mask.

The pens are GREAT! But why wear a mask??

I normally have a 4" dust collector hose right behind the pen I am turning so it gets most of the dust and shavings.
