I was told to start lathe ,hi speed, run block of wax across pen blank lightly. then take a soft cloth pad and run back and forth with moderate pressure . this creates heat to spread the wax.is this THE best ,or only way to apply this produgt.

i dont spell good but that is the wax. my thought was, ask and get differant ways of doing the job, then go try them out.a member from canada showed apen with carnauba wax and it looked slick. works for him , might work for me.

Personally, I don't like any wax at all on my pens. But, you should consider that carnauba wax melts at 172 degrees F. That's a lot of heat.
Do a good turn daily!

The best thing to do with that wax is drill a hole in it, insert a string, and use it as a candle. Then go buy yourself some Renaissance wax. Put a good friction polish on it and coat the wax on top. The carnauba alone is a bear to work with an won't hold up long against the oils in the pen user's hands.
