The Blue Wave

Introducing "Riding the Blue Wave" from Ohio Penworks

This new pen blank features Democratic donkeys surfing a towering blue wave while Republican elephants hurry ahead of the surf—a playful political cartoon inspired by the November 3, 2026 midterm election results.

I recognize that election outcomes bring celebration for some and disappointment for others. This design is not intended to hurt, offend, or belittle anyone who is disappointed by the results. My intention is to capture a piece of history through political cartoon imagery that reflects the political climate of this moment.

Handcrafted in Alumilite Clear urethane resin, "Riding the Blue Wave" offers pen turners a distinctive way to turn a moment in American history into a lasting keepsake.

Just pointing out that there is one too many appendages on the top right donkey. He appears to have all 4 legs and an arm. I'm not sure why that would have been intentional. Perhaps it wasn't so I wanted to mention it.
