Recently I was gluing a few pen blanks, using Devcon 4 ounce bottles of Two Ton Epoxy. The red bottle flowed like it should and clear. Turned the blue bottle upside down and it was like cold molasses. OK, put the bottle in warm water until it completely softened. But it had a grainy texture when squeezed on paper for mixing. I sent an email to customer service at Devon for their specific product and described the problem as I did here. All I got were links to a bunch of topics that didn't address my problem and a solution. I like TT epoxy as it has a long work time, allowing me to glue 3-4 tubes at a time. Had the five minute stuff but it sets up too fast for me plus I would need to mix a batch for each pen. Now...anyone have any suggestions? Thanks.
