Triple the Fun........

Having a great time with my new (used) Beall Pen Wizard. Using my newer Magnate router bit adds to the fun of making rope twists. To think it would take me hours to carve these by hand and now I do the same in minutes. These are done with Polaris kits. Left to right....Acrylic, Bloodwood, Ebony. No finish.....all three Buffed with the Beall System.

The twists are large enough that your fingers must assume the pen is round. I love using them and have no complaints from others.

Used a Magnate #7597 router specialty bit. It's a 1/4" shank bit so you'll have to use a Foredom type handpiece in your Pen Wizard. If you don't have the Foredom adapter that Beall made for the machine, make one yourself out of HDPE plastic. Your Pen Wizard has the set up hole and mounts to accept this. You also need to set the gears for a 1.54 pitch. That can be found on the pictures of the gear configurations that came with your Pen Wizard. It's in the left hand column, second picture down.
