I just finished these 10 bottle stoppers this week. Pretty quick and easy the only thing that took time was the finish and epoxy.
Sorry about the photo's being wonky but I can't figure out how to make them all stand on end.

These on top are my military inlay conchos

These are animal inlays except for the bright one which is a Montana State 1/4 dollar.

Thanks for looking.

Good looking group of stoppers Tom. I like the shapes, and finish. Nice selection of wood too.
There's three of the stoppers that I'm not sure of the wood Chuck. I got them quite a few years back from Bell Forest Products and thought it was time to finally turn something with them. The rest are either Koa or Milo. Lots of sap wood on the Koa.

Nice work on both sets. Where did you get the inlays? They look like buttons. Most interested in USN.
They came from Texas Uniques out of, wait for it, Texas. These are actually Conchos and you have a selection of sizes. I got the "Flat Back" ones as they are crossed hatched on the back so the epoxy really sticks well and they're not domed. The Coast Guard one came from someplace else that I can't remember. They do have whole accounts you can sign up for too.

I noted a disclaimer about bottle stoppers: They are not necessarily leak proof and any wine should be used in a few days as it could deteriorate with the presence of air.
