Well, the coconut palm was a mistake.

Hi Alan,

I have never tried Coconut Palm, but I have turned black palm and red palm, that was not too bad. Interesting grain though. I know in India people use Coconut palm for paneling on walls and that looks amazing.

One day I will try segmenting. Lots to learn.

Palm, and similar plants, are not technically wood. I think they are closer to grass or herbs (i.e. banana is classified as an herbacious plant) than trees with wood. I think that is why it is such a different beast...

Yep, got that. I just didnt like the appearance of the palm in the 2 left hand blanks........would have been better using a plain timber.
