Occasionally I will have a pen tip that's not flushed with wood and feels sharp if you slide your finger over it. Is there a way I can smooth that out without scratching the pen tip? I'm using CVA glue for a finish.
Thanks.

Actually what I was trying to say there is a spot that is not flush with the pen tip and it has sharp edge to it. Normally the wood and metal are flush when using a bushings but occasionally there is an area not flush. I was wondering if there was a way to take the edge off that. The pen is still acceptable but wanted to make it a bit better without scratching metal tip. I'm sure others have had that happen.
Just asking.
Thanks.
