Jr. Emperor FP kit

I have four Jr. Emperor Fountain Pen kits that I've had for a few years. I have never made a fountain pen yet, but it looks like the kit(s) are missing a part or Dayacom made this pen kit with a plastic nib end. What am I missing?

The middle piece looks like the nib end is secured in the top tube middle band. The plast part is the sleeve to protect the nib end. You should be able to unscrew at the bottom

yes center piece is 2 pieces. Look at it carefully

Thank you for taking the time to respond to my question. I can unscrew the nib from the plastic piece, but I have not been able to unscrew any other parts from that piece.

The centerpiece is actually 3 pieces, keep track of the ring

The decorative band that is on the centerpiece in your picture is a part of the cap. That part is threaded onto the section of the pen containing the nib. fred's pictures above help show this.

Here is a picture of the parts assembly layout from Exotic Blanks instructions, as well as a link to them. Loos like the only thing you are missing is the tubes.
