Blank Identification

I received this blank a number of years ago as a freebie in either a purchase or a swap. I forget from who. I just came across it in my stash, however, I have no idea what the material is in the gold resin. Any thoughts?

My first guess would be a Rhinoplastic blank, RPB002, Amber Waves because it kind of looks like it has some orange-ish copper-like tones. Number two in line would be maybe a Lava Lamp blank that used to be available at Exotic Blanks, I think it was called Fire Island.

Thanks for the reply, David. It is not 100% casting material. Something was cast in the gold/copper resin, and that is what I am trying to find out.

It looks like wood segments staggered and cast together in colored resin.

Unless the maker shows up and remembers it , your best bet is to turn it round between centres so we can see what the wood looks like . Doubt if it is anything very exotic .
