I came across an interesting pattern last week and think it was on Facebook. It looked like something I'd like to try and was looking for more pictures. If someone has information on this I'd really appreciate it. I've looked and can't find the original post. I did get a screen shot. Thanks in advance.

I seen that post too. I don't think it'll work, but if it did it would make 360° herringbones much easier.

It looks interesting. But looks like there is some stepping within each layer. Hope someone can find the author and more directions because it is unique. The photo on the right gives a better view of the pattern. When I first saw it it looked like this pen but the stepping in it unique,

Dale, I saw the posting, but can't download his photographs. It's on the 'Pen Turning UK' forum. He has a further post added recently.
Hope that this helps.

If you don't hear from me for a while, it's because I'll still be gluing up in 3 weeks time.
Trialing a triple herringbone design comprising of 3 squares glued at 90 degrees, then stacked. Sketchup helped to get my head around it.
I feel it was a mistake starting so small, using 15mm squares of 2.5mm Maple, Walnut & Wenge. Having to use Lego as a square edge…
