Dear all, managed to find some of my stash, or rather pieces of wood I collected over the years. Only bought them cause I thought the grains were beautiful. Could you guys identify the wood and maybe tell me if they are any good? Else I won't bother trying to turn them

I would have guessed Pyinma (Asian Satinwood or Crepe Myrtle) based on the amount of curl - very pretty blanks! - Dave
Dave, if there's even a remote chance that could be crepe Myrtle, I'll never discard the branches I prune off every winter. !
That is so beautifully figured wood !
