Nothing been doing this a long time so need nothing at all. In fact I am sorting through things to unload and sell off. But will warn you do not go in this with a big appetite. Just go at it with small bites and try different things. If you do not like it then you have less to sell off. Just some friendly advise.

This is an old thread, but still holds true. Take a look before you spend money you don't need to. You will need to find your own preferences for tools and methods, but there are some things that you really shouldn't bother with.

I have a couple Fowler rulers and love them. pricey but well made. Along with their calipers.
